Gaynor has an extensive background in Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Traditional Medicine and Meditation.
Whilst working in China as a manager and buyer for Laura Ashley, Gaynor found herself inspired and drawn to the Chinese culture and traditional lifestyle.
With her love for this beautiful culture and zest for life she recognised she needed some conscious movement to stay supple and fit, in mind and body. This led her on to train in Meditation, Tai Chi, Qigong and more recently, Acupuncture.
She trained in Meditation and became a Certified Meditation Counsellor with the British Meditation Society in 1995 and has been teaching ever since.
Following her training in Tai Chi and Qigong in 1994, Gaynor began teaching in 1998. She still continues to study and train in these disciplines, along with maintaining her student’s classes.
In 2011 Gaynor started studying for a degree in Acupuncture, this included Medical Tui Na Massage and Chinese Cupping. Not surprisingly, she qualified with 2:1 BSc (Hons) as an Acupuncturist in 2014.
On qualifying, she immediately opened a clinic and since then has been helping to look after and support her local community and her students.
Gaynor continues to extend her knowledge and refine her skills with the same enthusiasm as when she first started.
